LSDC Colleagues, Friends, and Supporters,
It is with great pleasure that I share with you that Lauren Ciampoli (MA-LSDC 2015) has been awarded the inaugural ODU Lifespan and Digital Communication's Distinguished Alumni Award.
Since graduating in 2015, Lauren not only serves ODU as an adjunct COMM faculty member, she continues to support the LSDC program by actively helping to recruit future generations of LSDC students, graciously starting and hosting the LSDC Holiday party (for the past three years), as well as sharing her time, talents, and advice with current LSDC students by attending LSDC dinners (when she is not traveling to Las Vegas for her job at Dominion Enterprises). Also, in our 8th floor LSDC Graduate room hangs a conference poster that Lauren presented at the 2015 Eastern Communication Association that serves as an enduring example for future LSDC students of how to prepare an excellent conference poster.
We are very proud of all of our LSDC Alumni, but this year we wanted to give special recognition to Lauren for her outstanding service and support.
