I am a Lecturer in the Educational Psychology and Program Evaluation (EPPE) program in the Department of STEMPS at Old Dominion University. My research explores the motivation and experiences of underrepresented students, with a focus on centering the voices of Black teachers and learners. I am particularly interested in re-imagining traditional motivation theories to better reflect the racial and cultural contexts of diverse groups. With experience in instructional design, I am committed to creating equitable, engaging learning environments that support the success of all students.
