Dr. Anne Marie Perrotti is a certified speech-language pathologist with a PhD in Special Education who dedicates her research to bridging disciplinary perspectives using interprofessional innovation, education, and development. Her work focuses on understanding and responding to relationships between family violence, cognitive-communication disabilities, and the school-to-prison pipeline for youth and young adults. She also seeks to understand neurodevelopmental disabilities (e.g. autism and ADHD) to make STEM-H education, research, or services more accessible. Dr. Perrotti has won two teaching awards and is committed to serving the community and at-risk populations through advocacy and awareness.
