ODU Libraries invite the Hampton Roads community to "Naro Minded," a free screening and musical performance at Norfolk's Naro Expanded Cinema!

To recognize the wide range of videos within the Naro Video Collection, now housed at ODU's Perry Library, the free screening highlights the landmark experimental short film Meshes of the Afternoon (1943) with a new score performed live by Norfolk electronic artist Karacell, followed by the 2021 Sundance standout We're All Going to the World's Fair (2021). ODU Libraries' 42,000+ title collection holds ties to Norfolk's historic Ghent District where the videos were first made available through Naro Expanded Video in 1989.
