STEM-minded ODU students can earn a gift card* for a free pizza by completing a fun and easy coding game to build a virtual pizza.

Starting daily on Nov. 30 at 12:30 p.m., the first 20 ODU students to successfully complete the coding tutorial will receive a free pizza gift card. The game can be played an unlimited number of times, but a student can only win one pizza. No coding experience is needed.

The promotion continues through Friday, Dec. 11 at 12:30 p.m.

#Code4PizzaODU exposes students to the possibilities of computer science as they create their own coding minigame to build a virtual pizza. The initiative stems from ODU's participation in the Commonwealth's Tech Talent Investment Program aimed at increasing the tech talent pipeline in Virginia. ODU hopes to encourage more students to enter the computer science and computer engineering disciplines in the next two decades.
