This linked bachelor's/master's degree program is designed to provide an opportunity for exceptionally qualified engineering undergraduate students to obtain both a bachelors and a master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
A select number of exceptionally well-qualified students at Old Dominion University may be admitted to the Linked Bachelor’s/Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering program while in their junior year of undergraduate studies. This program encourages admitted students to work closely with individual faculty members during the remainder of their undergraduate program, and allows them to complete graduate coursework while they are still undergraduates.
For a select number of exceptionally well-qualified students, ODU has established a linked doctoral program that enables students to be admitted directly into the Ph.D. program upon completion of the baccalaureate degree. This program encourages admitted students to work closely with faculty members and pursue a research experience.
This program is designed to allow qualified students to secure a space in the Biomedical Engineering M.E. or M.S. program while they are still pursuing their undergraduate degree.
For a select number of exceptionally well-qualified students, ODU has established a linked doctoral program that enables students to be admitted directly into the Ph.D. program upon completion of the baccalaureate degree. This program encourages admitted students to work closely with faculty members and pursue a research experience. The student may opt to obtain the master's degree along the way to the doctorate.
