The Department of Political Science and Geography at Old Dominion University's College of Arts and Letters and Pi Sigma Alpha will sponsor a virtual panel discussion about the presidential election on Oct. 29.
The event, which will be moderated by department Chair and Professor Jonathan Leib, is scheduled to run from 12:20 to 1:20 p.m. at this Zoom link.
Professors Michael Clemons, Nicole Hutton, Regina Karp, Michelle Kundmueller, Benjamin Melusky, Jesse Richman and Joshua Zingher will answer audience questions and discuss the following topics:
- Predictions, polls and early voting.
- The Electoral College.
- Congress and the state legislatures.
- Race and politics.
- The consequences for the courts.
- Foreign policy and environmental policy implications.
