This program is designed to allow qualified students to secure a space in the Biomedical Engineering M.E. or M.S. program while they are still pursuing their undergraduate degree.
Program Highlights
-
Engineering students with GPA >= 3.0 can apply for the BME graduate program through a linked B.S./M.S. or B.S./M.E. program
-
Students can take two graduate courses double counted for the B.S. degree and a graduate degree
-
For B.S./Master programs, students need only 24 credit hours and can start working with a research advisor during their senior year. No need for a formal application such as reference letters, essay, and GRE scores
-
You will complete advanced coursework and conduct cutting-edge research in exciting areas, including Bioelectrics, Cardiovascular Engineering, Cellular & Molecular Bioengineering, Gene Therapy, Tissue Engineering, Medical Image Analysis & Simulation, Muscoskeletal Biomechanics, Plasma Medicine, and Systems Biology & Computational Bioengineering
