Faisal Mahmud

Dr. Faisal Mahmud is currently an Instructional Technology Specialist at CLT, ODU Distance Learning. He also manages FUSION Lab, a creative space and collaboration platform for tools and technology R&D for ODU DL. Prior to joining here, he was a Resource Manager and Testing Supervisor at Experiential Learning and Testing Center, ODU. He also worked with ODU Research Foundation, MSVE department, CEE department, Admissions Office, and Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center.

His research interests are in Human-Computer Interactions (HCI), Modeling and Simulation, Data Analytics, Systems Integration and Management, and Human-Intelligence/Machine-Intelligence Decision Governance.

Dr. Mahmud holds a PhD in Engineering Management and Systems Engineering, a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Modeling and Simulation, and a Master of Science (MSc) in Civil Engineering, all from Old Dominion University.
