Webinar - Making Sense of the Evidence: A Review of Dropout Prevention Strategies
Dr. Shanan Chappell from the Center for Educational Partnerships discusses the findings from a recent research investigation that identified the best strategies to reduce or eliminate the risks of dropout among high school students. The study examined over 50 studies spanning three decades and included approximately 37,000 participants. Statistical methods were used to increase the effect size and thus improve the strength of this meta-analytical study. The focus was on those dropout prevention strategies that had the strongest probability of positively impacting student outcomes.
