Our corporate partners enjoy special opportunities to interact with our supply chain students at a range of recruiting events. In addition, we invite students to attend several of our Supply Chain Analytics Lab meetings for corporate partners each year. We also host lunch events for each of our corporate partners where they mix and mingle with students. Corporate partners can also make presentations to students in classroom settings, student association events, promote their companies on campus through other channels and receive advance notice of student résumé books.
As we gain a deeper understanding of each of our corporate partners, we will develop customized executive education seminars to meet their unique business needs. Our nationally renowned faculty is committed to designing tailored programs that will help partner organizations achieve competitive advantage in their respective industries. We offer tailored executive seminars / workshops to our industry partners.
To be informed of trends and new developments in the Supply Chain and Logistics industry, our corporate partners will be provided Supply Chain Analytics Lab's publications: "Supply Chain Insights" and "ODU Maritime Institute Logistics Cluster Monitor".
Old Dominion's supply chain, IT, and business analytics faculty are globally recognized as authors of highly cited research papers. Our professors focus their research efforts on solving real-world problems with practical business applications. We are committed to leveraging our considerable research capability to help corporate partners solve business problems.
We recognize that we cannot address all aspects of the supply chain discipline in our undergraduate and graduate programs. So we consult our corporate partners about the strategic direction of our curriculum as well as specific classes, course content, full-length case studies and mini-cases. In this way, our corporate partners help us ensure that our students have relevant knowledge when they enter the workforce.
