Join us at the 40th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Observance featuring a keynote address by Dr. Bernice A. King.
Dr. King is a global thought leader, strategist, solutionist, orator, peace advocate and CEO of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change (The King Center), which was founded by her mother, Mrs. Coretta Scott King, as the official living memorial to the life, work and legacy of her father.
The event includes a special presentation of the Hugo Owens Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Award, which is given annually to an outstanding individual or organization that has made considerable contributions to civil rights, politics, housing and social programs through leadership, dedication and persistence.
Free and open to all. Reservations are not required but are encouraged.
