Jonathan Lee, a faculty member in ODU's Library and Information Sciences program launched his show: Antiquity Second Hand, at Piedmont Arts in Martinsville, VA. He is showing 10 pieces created from used and/or discarded album covers. His pieces accompany an exhibition from the Quilters of Gee's Bend, a multigenerational Alabama community descended from enslaved people who have been making patchwork quilts since the early 19th century. Piedmont Arts is an affiliate of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and is located in the heart of Henry County. The show runs from January 27 to March 16, 2024.
