Survey for a Chance to Win Gift Cards! – Dissertation Research – Motivational Beliefs About Attendance and Persistence in College
A doctoral candidate in the ODU College of Education is collecting dissertation research data from first- and second-year college students about their motivational beliefs regarding attendance and persistence in college. The purpose of the study is to gain a better understanding of students’ motivational beliefs about continuing in their college studies. If you agree to participate in the study, you will take an online survey, lasting approximately 15 minutes. Following the survey, you will be given the opportunity to enter a raffle for 1 of 15 Amazon gift cards! Overall, ten $10 gift cards, four $20 gift cards, and one $50 gift card will be awarded by a random drawing at the end of the semester!
Additionally, if you complete the survey, you will be asked to complete a very brief follow-up survey approximately four weeks later. After completing the follow-up survey, you will be given the opportunity to enter an additional raffle for a $20 gift card!
The survey will only be available for a limited time (until 11/21/2024), so please complete the survey as soon as you are able to. Please note that you must be a first- or second-year student at ODU (no more than 60 credits completed) and be at least 18 years old to participate!
