Old Dominion University Test Prep is here to help you learn about the GRE revised General Test and to give you the skills and tools you need to maximize your potential. Our updated, comprehensive program covers each of the three main sections of the GRE revised General exam-Analytical Writing, Verbal Reasoning, and Quantitative Reasoning. We will walk you through each section and prepare you for all of the question types you are likely to encounter on test day.
ODU's GRE ONLINE (live) classes offer the same great program as the traditional GRE prep class with the added flexibility of attending class from anywhere or at any time. Our virtual classroom provides you with the opportunity to interact in real-time with our expert instructors with the added benefit of watching recordings of your class sessions at your convenience for up to 30 days after the course ends.
GRE Strategy Workshops
Join us for an informative introduction to the revised GRE. If you are preparing for graduate school, you know that success on the GRE exam will play a critical role in your acceptance into the program of your choice. You want to study with the best. Come meet with our experienced instructor to learn about the test and pick up a few tricks. We know you'll get a lot out of this free session. Due to limited space pre-registration is encouraged.
This free session is open to all individuals considering graduate school, including university juniors and seniors as well as those who have been out of school for a while. If you have taken the test before, this session will refresh your memory or introduce you to the revised GRE (introduced in 2011).
Note: Preregistration for face-to-face and Live-Online Strategy Workshops is preferred but not required. Registration for Strategy Workshops should be simpler than registration for courses, and should include the option to join program mailing lists, drip campaigns, etc.
GRE: The live-online GRE Prep Course is offered online using Adobe Connect, a free application. All you need to participate in live-online classes are a high-speed internet connection and speakers or headphones.
Course materials will be delivered directly to your home. We recommend registering at least four (4) business days in advance of the class start date to ensure timely delivery of your student package.
To withdraw from a course you must send a request in writing to credentialingcenter@odu.edu seven (7) days prior the start date of the course. Failure to attend a course does not constitute withdrawal. Course registration fees, less a $50 processing fee will be refunded to your credit card. There are no refunds once the class has begun.
Late withdrawals of six (6) days or less before the class begins, will result in the student being charged the $50 processing fee, as well as charges for books and/or other course material fees.
