At Old Dominion University, Your Talent Management Teams provide the support you need to work, manage, grow, and develop at ODU. While we work across teams to provide the best experience possible for ODU faculty and employees, each team is responsible for handling specific types of services.

Our functional areas include Benefits, Compensation, Employee Relations, Training, Organization Development, Transactions, Records Management and Talent Management Information Systems. Some of your Talent Management needs such as faculty recruitment and employee relations for teaching and research faculty are addressed by the Office of Academic Affairs.

Meet Your VP for Talent Management and Culture

September Sanderlin holds more than 30+ years of human resources experience and has been a Monarch at ODU since 1997. As Vice President for Talent Management and Culture, she oversees organization development, training, employee relations, compensation and classification, benefits, workforce planning, compliance, institutional equity, information systems, recruitment, staffing, personnel actions and record-keeping.
