FACULTY LEAVE POLICIES
Leave policies and procedures for teaching and research & administrative and professional faculty allow them to take paid and unpaid leave for several reasons, such as vacation, personal illness or family-related matters. The following guidelines summarize the policies used to provide these types of leave, record keeping requirements and supervisor's responsibilities.
Sick Leave Policy
For valid health purposes.
Military Leave Policy
For qualifying military-related duties
Civil & Administrative Leave Policy
To fulfill certain required civic duties such as jury duty
Bone Marrow & Organ Donor Leave Policy
As needed for donating bone marrow or organs
Emergency/Disaster Leave Policy
For emergency services during defined times of state and/or national disaster
Recognition Leave Policy
May be awarded to acknowledge extraordinary contributions.
School Assistance & Volunteer Service Leave Policy
Used to participate in school or community activities.
1491: Annual Leave Policy (for AP Faculty & Eligible Teaching and Research Faculty on 12-Month Contracts)
For vacations and other personal reasons.
