GPIS students interact with distinguished faculty in interdisciplinary, globally-oriented MA and PhD programs that are designed to guide them in exploring important political, economic, social, and cultural aspects of our interdependent world.

NATO Accreditation
NATO, a military alliance of 32 North American and European countries, accredited the ODU GPIS degree program as a "Selected Program" for alliance members' education and training. Currently, no other civilian academic institutions have been awarded the "Selected Program" designation by NATO.
