Join fellow ODU student volunteers in honoring & remembering Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s commitment to service and community by volunteering on MLK Day 2024!
Please note, there are no classes on January 15th, in honor of MLK Day.
There will be four different on and off-campus volunteer locations available:
Transportation to off-campus locations, as well as lunch, will be provided free of charge to all volunteers.
In order to participate, students must RSVP through Monarch Groups. You will then be redirected once you RSVP to a new webpage, where you will select ONE LOCATION as your preferred service location. Please note, due to any emergencies or unforeseen circumstances on the day of the event, your volunteer location may be subject to change.
Students must arrive, on Monday January 15, at 9 a.m. to Owens House Residence Hall - 1st floor - for volunteer check-in. Off-campus locations depart via provided shuttles at 9:30 a.m. and all students volunteer from 10 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided upon return to campus at 1 p.m.
