Learn Strategies to Combat Health Misinformation with ODU Libraries!
The novel coronavirus has exposed the challenges of finding accurate, up-to-date health information at a time when scientific knowledge is still developing and misinformation is easily spread. Fact-checking the information you encounter about COVID-19 can be a valuable tool to protect yourself from misinformation that could potentially jeopardize the physical health of yourself and your community.
Join ODU Libraries for an online workshop on November 10th from 7:00 - 8:00 pm to explore how good and bad health information spreads and learn fact-checking strategies that you can use to evaluate health information that you see in your social media feeds and other online platforms.
