Starting daily on Nov. 30 at 12:30 p.m., the first 20 ODU students to successfully complete a coding tutorial will receive a free pizza gift card!

#Code4PizzaODU exposes students to the possibilities of computer science as they create their own coding minigame to build a virtual pizza.

  • The game can be played an unlimited number of times, but a student can only win one pizza. No coding experience is needed.
  • The promotion continues through Dec. 11 at 12:30 p.m.
  • Find #Code4PizzaODU posts on ODU's main social media channels to enter.

The initiative stems from ODU's participation in the commonwealth's Tech Talent Investment Program aimed at increasing the tech talent pipeline in Virginia. Notably, ODU hopes to encourage more students to enter the computer science and computer engineering disciplines in the next two decades.

Subject librarians at ODU Libraries are also available to help students further explore these exciting fields of study!
