Perry Library welcomes you back for a limited reopening while supporting CDC guidelines, practicing physical and social distancing, and wearing face coverings. The Perry Library Help Desk will be staffed for service. See our Welcome Back Guide.
Here's what you can expect as you return:
- Entrance requires ODU ID Card swipe at the front door of Perry Library through August 21 (Updated 7/31/20: date extended due to fall semester star date of August 29)
- Help Desk service point has plexiglass barriers and floor decals for 6 ft. distancing. Libraries staff will also wear face coverings.
- Self-checkout is encouraged. Materials should be returned to book drops inside or outside Perry Library.
- Equipment loans are not available, except with documentation for course requirements.
- Money for student printing must be added online at https://cardcenter.odu.edu - no cash transactions at the Help Desk.
- Course reserve materials will only be available electronically through Blackboard; no print reserves will be available at Perry Library.
