Welcome to ODU!
Now that you're a Monarch, you will need an ODU ID Card to get around campus. Your ID card serves as your University identification, giving you access to ODU discounts, and can serve as a prox card that allows you access to certain ID-protected areas on campus. You can also add money to your Monarch Plus account and swipe your ID card to make purchases at participating locations.

The following criteria must be met for acceptance:
- Headshot
- Solid colored background
- Forward facing
- No one else in the picture
PROCEDURE TO OBTAIN ID CARD
New Employee will:

Send an email to cardcenter@odu.edu that includes:

Attach headshot photo as a JPEG attachment.

If all criteria is met, your new ID can be picked up after your New Employee Orientation. If you are virtual, you may request that the ID be mailed to the address on file.
