Auditions

The F. Ludwig Diehn Chorale is a twenty voice select ensemble that performs a variety of music from chamber works to jazz. This ensemble is made up of Diehn Scholars and University Concert Choir Scholarship recipients who have demonstrated the highest levels of talent, commitment and energy. The Diehn Chorale was established by Nancy Klein in 2006. This select ensemble typically performs for numerous 

ODU functions, performs for area high schools and public schools, has collaborated with numerous local choral organizations and is much sought after as performers of small ensemble literature. They have premiered selected works of Adolphus Hailstork, James Kosnik, Joseph Kasper and Rich Moriarty. In demand throughout the Hampton Roads area, the F. Ludwig Diehn Chorale was recently a featured performing ensemble for the Virginia Arts Festival.
