ODU’s Regina Karp to Moderate Virtual NATO Panel Discussion

Regina Karp, director of Old Dominion University's international studies program in the College of Arts & Letters, will serve as moderator for a NATO Festival virtual panel conversation.

"Stronger Together: Perspectives on Strengthening the Alliance" is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. March 31. The event, presented by the World Affairs Council of Greater Hampton Roads and the Norfolk NATO Festival, is free and open to the public. You can register at HERE or at www.hrwac.org.

Panelists include:

  • Gen. André Lanata, French Air Force, Supreme Allied Commander Transformation.
  • Admiral Edmund Giambastiani, U.S. Navy (ret.), first Supreme Allied Commander Transformation and former vice chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff.
  • Gen. James Mattis, U.S. Marine Corps (ret.), former Supreme Allied Commander Transformation and 26th U.S. Secretary of Defense.
  • Gen. Denis Mercier, French Air Force (ret.), former Supreme Allied Commander Transformation.
