Flags Lowered to Commemorate Death of Former U.S. Sen. Harry Reid

Pursuant to President Biden's Presidential Proclamation to lower the United States flag, Governor Ralph Northam ordered that the flags of the United States and Virginia are to be flown at half-staff over the state Capitol and all local, state, and federal buildings and grounds in the commonwealth in respect and memory of former U.S. Senator Harry M. Reid Jr.
The flags shall be lowered from sunrise until sunset on Jan. 13.
