Governor Glenn Youngkin ordered the flags of the United States and the Commonwealth of Virginia be flown at half-staff on May 31 in respect and memory of the lives lost and those injured in the Virginia Beach shooting in 2019.
The flags shall be flown at half-staff until sunset at all state and local buildings.
