The Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science Degree Completion Program is available for graduates of accredited Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) programs from associate degree, hospital-based or military instititions. Our program equips students with the skills and knowledge needed to provide physicians and providers with data utilized in diagnosing, treating, and preventing disease. The curriculum is designed to meet the needs of local and distant practitioners. Program courses are delivered online to accommodate the schedules of working students. MLT certification is required for admission.

Quality Control Systems Managers
Plan, direct, or coordinate quality assurance programs. Formulate quality control policies and control quality of laboratory and production efforts.
Medical and Clinical Laboratory Technologists
Perform complex medical laboratory tests for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. May train or supervise staff.
Medical Scientist, Except Epidemiology
Conduct research dealing with the understanding of human diseases and the improvement of human health. Engage in clinical investigation, research and development, or other related activities.
Microbiologists
Investigate the growth, structure, development, and other characteristics of microscopic organisms, such as bacteria, algae, or fungi. Includes medical microbiologists who study the relationship between organisms and disease or the effects of antibiotics on microorganisms.
Requirements

- Completed program application form with goals statement
- Official transcripts from all universities and colleges attended
- Overall grade point average
- Biology and chemistry prerequisite cumulative grade point average
- Three letters of recommendation (at least two from current or previous employer and preferably one from an academic source)
- Phone interview after initial pre-screening
- Documentation of certification as a medical laboratory technician, MLT
