In honor of Nancy Topping Bazin, we are pleased to extend this invitation to apply for one of our three endowed scholarships.
The Nancy Topping Bazin graduate scholarship is intended to recognize exceptional graduate students who demonstrate a core commitment to feminist scholarship and the field of Women's and Gender Studies. All graduate students pursuing the Women's and Gender Studies Certificate are encouraged to apply.
To be considered for this scholarship, please submit the following components in an application packet:
- a copy of your ODU graduate transcript
- your CV
- a 2-3 page personal statement
The personal statement should describe your interest in Women's and Gender Studies, your area of specialization, and your goals in pursing this degree. Explain how this scholarship will help you advance your scholarly goals.
Please submit your materials to the Women's and Gender Studies department. Electronic copies may be submitted to wgs@odu.edu. A faculty committee will review your application and select a candidate for this long-standing endowed scholarship.
