Awardees Announced
In honor of the women who founded and led our Women's and Gender Studies department, we offer four endowed scholarships: the Carolyn Rhodes Undergraduate Scholarship, the Nancy Topping Bazin Graduate Scholarship, the Anita Clair Fellman Service-Learning Scholarship, and the Dr. Jennifer Fish Endowed Scholarship for Social Justice.
These awards allow students to receive support and additional resources to thrive in their university studies and beyond.
Students engaged in community-based research and service-learning are eligible for additional support to realize their projects through the Anita Clair Fellman scholarship.
The Carolyn Rhodes Undergraduate scholarship is determined based upon academic achievement for Women's and Gender Studies majors.
The Dr. Jennifer Fish Endowed Scholarship for Social Justice is awarded to an undergraduate student with a current or intended major in Women's and Gender Studies or African American & African Studies, whose work or volunteer activities serve humanitarian causes or causes of social justice.
The Nancy Topping Bazin scholarship is awarded to a graduate student pursuing the certificate program.
