Old Dominion University’s Strome College of Business offers its students one of the best online Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs in the country, according to a recent report from The Princeton Review.

Receiving praise for its flexibility and rigorous coursework, the Old Dominion University (ODU) MBA program ranked No. 26 in the Top 50 Online MBA Programs for 2024, the third time in as many years.

“With a curriculum that is both relevant and accommodating, our online MBA students learn the skills they need to succeed in the global business landscape, on their time,” said Interim Dean Erika Marsillac of ODU’s Strome College of Business. “At ODU, we strive for excellence in business education and look forward to the continued success of this program, with the support of our students, alumni, faculty and staff.”

In its profile of ODU’s online MBA, The Princeton Review praises the program as a “competitive program at a well-known school.” The profile also includes comments from ODU MBA students surveyed by The Princeton Review, with one student reporting, “The skills I have learned throughout this program have trained me to be a better and more effective program manager and leader."

At ODU, MBA students are part of a unique learning environment, positioning them to make their mark, better their community and advance their career. The college’s expert faculty members are leaders in their respective fields and equip graduates with the real-world skills needed in today’s workforce. Recent graduates of ODU’s MBA program have gone on to careers in logistics management, port and maritime management, entrepreneurship, banking and finance, and human resources, among many others.

“Being recognized as one of the top online MBA programs affirms the value that our program creates through rigorous education, directly relevant training, and rewarding experiences, said Shanna Wood, ODU MBA program associate director.

With many ways to complete the program of study, including online, in-person and hybrid options, MBA students at ODU earn their degree on their time.

"All of the b-schools on our lists for 2024—our list of the best online MBAs as well as our list of the best on-campus MBAs—deliver exceptional MBA programs,” said Rob Franek, The Princeton Review's Editor-in-Chief. “We commend and recommend them highly to prospective b-schoolapplicants.”

The Princeton Review editors weigh more than 60 data points in their selections of schools for theirBest Business Schools lists. The selection and ranking of the online MBA programs for 2024 took into account data from The Princeton Review’s 2024 surveys of administrators at 165 schools offering online MBAs as well as its surveys of 10,700 students enrolled in the online MBA programs.
