Join us for an engaging workshop!

We will explore the critical skills necessary for effectively communicating scientific research to non-experts. Led by Dr. Michelle Covi, a renowned expert in science communication, this workshop will provide essential insights into how scientists can enhance their communication skills. Drawing from her extensive experience in conveying complex topics, particularly related to sea level rise and climate adaptation, Dr. Covi will share practical strategies to improve how you communicate your science and research. With a master's degree in zoology and a PhD in coastal resources management, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from her role as a coastal resilience DOD liaison with the University of Georgia’s Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant.

This workshop is an invaluable opportunity for professional development, designed to help bridge the gap between graduate school and your future career!
