What does our Psychology Department offer?
The department's full-time faculty represent a range of areas in psychology. The undergraduate program provides a broad coverage of the discipline along with research and applied opportunities to prepare students for a graduate education or diverse career paths. In addition, labs conduct research on cognitive, developmental, health, human factors, and industrial/ organizational psychology, among others.

The Department of Psychology at Old Dominion University has a tradition of exceptional research, scholarship, education, and service. We are housed within the College of Sciences. Our nationally recognized faculty conduct basic and applied research on a broad variety of topics in psychology.
