The Old Dominion University Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) student chapter is dedicated to promoting the awareness of human factors psychology to our undergraduate psychology student population. If you are a psychology student that loves your classes but is unsure about what career in psychology to pursue, our student organization can inform you what a career is human factors psychology consists of. Our meeting topics are about human factors research conducted at ODU, learning about human factors methods practiced in the industry, and guest talks from alumni that give us insight about their careers. As an undergraduate, you can learn how to best shape your ODU experience through peer mentoring and our workshops that explain how to apply to graduate school.
To become a member of the HFES student organization, you must attend two meetings each year. If you want to be included on the mailing list send an e-mail to HFES@odu.edu expressing your interest in membership.
