Massage Therapy is a great way to help relieve pain, headaches, stress, insomnia and general tension. Massage therapy (30 minute, 60 minute and 90 minute) sessions are typically available throughout the week.

Health Promotion Massage Chair
Free Massage Chair for Students
ODU students can stop by the Health Promotion Office (1525 Webb Center) during open hours to spend up to 25 minutes in the free massage chair! Massage is a great way to unwind and relax between classes. The chair is sanitized between uses to ensure a clean environment for all who use it. Only one person may be in the massage room at a time. The student massage chair is not part of the Massage Therapy program. It is a free benefit offered to ODU Students by the Health Promotion Office.
Location
The Massage Therapy program, managed by Recreation & Wellness: Fitness & Wellness, is located in the University Fitness Center on Monarch Way (between 42nd Street and 43rd Street). There are also private showers and daily use lockers available for use at this location. Note: the Health Promotion Office massage chair is NOT located at the UFC; it is located in the Health Promotion Office in Webb Center.
