Doña A.P Storey is president and CEO of Quality Technical Services Inc. (QTS), a company she founded in 1980. She has become known as an ambassador for small business through her experience as a management consultant in organization analysis and new business/product launches and as a mentor to small businesses, especially those owned by women, minorities and veterans/disabled veterans
QTS is an Asian American, woman-owned corporation with clients such as Time Inc., J.P. Morgan Chase, Ritz-Carlton, Johnson & Johnson, the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, the Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Storey graduated from Old Dominion University in 1973 with a bachelor of science degree in psychology.
She has held key positions in many organizations, including the city of Virginia Beach Minority Business Council, and Tidewater Community College Curriculum Advisory Committee for Management. She additionally is a member of the ODU Educational Foundation Board of Trustees and numerous national organizations including the National Association of Women Business Owners, National Association of Female Executives, Women Impacting Public Policy, and the National Girls Caucus.
Storey has won recognition as a recipient of the Women in Business Achievement Award, one of Virginia's Fantastic 50 Businesses of the Year, SBA Regional Minority Small Business Person of the Year, Fifty Influential Minorities in Business, an Outstanding Professional Woman, and one of the Top Three Entrepreneurial Women Awards given by the National Association of Women Business Owners.
Storey resides in Virginia Beach with her husband, David.
