Dr. Tian Luo recently published about females who are studying quantitative topics.  Co-authored with IDT Ph.D. student Pauline Muljana, the study delves into self-regulated learning as it relates to homework completion and subsequent course achievement.  Using structural equation modeling, she and her co-authors found that two learning strategies helped reduce last-minute homework submissions which helped with course achievement.  The article is titled, Examining the relationships among self-regulated learning, homework timeliness, and course achievement:  a context of female students learning quantitative topics, and was published in the Journal of Research on Technology in Education - a Q1 journal in education and computer science.
