When to Register

Pre-Registration

Pre-registration refers to the first 5 days of the registration period for any term. Only currently registered, degree-seeking students with time tickets may register during pre-registration.

Graduate students with time tickets may register beginning the first day of pre-registration.

Undergraduate students with time tickets may register beginning the first day of pre-registration according to their scheduled time. See the Registration Timetable to get an idea of your earliest registration time. Be sure to check LEO Online (Banner Registration-->Prepare for Registration) to view your time ticket, approximately one month before pre-registration begins.

There are no exceptions to the eligibility windows. Students may not register earlier than their scheduled time.

Open Registration

Open registration begins the 6th day of the registration period. During open registration, all admitted students (except those required to attend PREVIEW) may register for classes. No time ticket is required during open registration.

Non-degree-seeking and visiting students who have been admitted, are eligible to register during open registration.

Students who have not attended classes in 12 months or more should contact the Office of Admissions or the Office of Distance Learning to reactivate their student account before attempting to register. See the Frequently Asked Questions for more information.

Web Registration

Online registration is available Monday-Saturday 6am-11pm and Sunday 12 noon-11pm online via Leo Online.

Course offerings and class schedules are available for viewing and searching, from the LEO Online home page (select Course Schedules from the menu). Logging in to the secure web site is not required to view classes. To register for classes, you must log in to the secure site.

Students who have not attended classes in 12 months or more should contact the Office of Admissions to reactivate their student record, before attempting to register.
