The Darden Council is a dedicated group of ODU alumni and supporters of the Darden College of Education and Professional Studies who support, promote, and advise the College in achieving its mission of advancing communities through research, teaching, and service. Meeting regularly with the Dean, Council members:
- aid the College in making a meaningful impact on its community, Virginia, and beyond
- enhance the working relationship between the College and its constituents by increasing communication and providing feedback
- advocate for support, financial resources, and partnerships necessary to the meet mutual needs of the College and its constituents
With diverse professional expertise and a shared passion for education, the Darden Council advises decision-making that directly impacts our students' experiences. As champions of our College’s mission, the Darden Council embodies the Monarch spirit—adapting, innovating, and fostering a collaborative community to inspire future educators and professionals.
