We are a large, vibrant, active community of students and faculty dedicated to offering rigorous academic programs that prepare our graduates for advanced study and a range of professions in writing, editing, linguistics, teaching, and more. Our courses encourage both the analysis and production of texts, and our degrees have majors and concentrations in a number of English fields, including Creative Writing, Linguistics, Technical Writing, Literature, Teacher Preparation, Rhetoric, and Technology and Media Studies.
