Our Mission

Student Success

The mission of the ODU school of supply chain, logistics and maritime operations and is to:

•Promote awareness of supply chain, logistics, and maritime operations and its interdisciplinary nature to K-12 population and college students.
•Coordinate interdisciplinary academic programming related to supply chain, logistics, and maritime operations.
•Expand and enhance supply chain, logistics, and maritime operations workforce development and training to focused education programs for a diverse group of learners.
•Facilitate a collaborative approach to research among different academic units as related to the supply chain, logistics, and maritime operations to address real world problems through innovative and cutting-edge research.
•Facilitate collaboration with industry, business, and military partners related to workforce development, and applied and transitional research.
•Serve as a clearing house for supply chain, logistics, and maritime operations academic programming, research, and training.
