The Joint School of Public Health is a partnership between Old Dominion University and Norfolk State University to provide a collaborative and comprehensive education at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and practical, hands-on experiences.
Our programs provide students with problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and evidence-based health practices related to public health.
Public Health students received a grant to research air quality and present findings to the Virginia Department of Health.
Joint School of Public Health faculty and staff gathered to celebrate the school’s approval by the State Council on Higher Education in Virginia (SCHEV) and conference research presentations.
