CBE Scholars Program

The Center for Bioelectronics (CBE) Scholars program is a competitive scholarship program that serves to develop the next generation of leading bioelectrical science, bioengineering and bioscience researchers by providing a comprehensive research experience for the duration of the doctoral research program.

The program is designed to enable ODU and EVMS graduate students to conduct independent research in the state-of-the-art laboratories of the Center for Bioelectronics and with top-notch researchers in the field of biomedical research.

Our students participate in the areas of micro- and nanotechnology, regenerative medicine, neuroscience, biomaterials, drug delivery, and cancer diagnostics.

Recruitment is currently on hold. We anticipate our CBE scholars will select from a wide variety of our bio-related projects for their doctoral research. Our particular attention will be focused on scholars interested in working on research projects in the areas of immunoengineering, cancer therapuetics, neuroengineering, and sensor and device development.
