The Center for Bioelectronics at Old Dominion University is seeking outstanding candidates for a post-doctoral research associate position with a focus on biosensor & bioelectronics development and organic materials integration. This position is a non-permanent appointment, renewable each year up to a max of two years. The successful candidate will make key contributions to process development for polymeric/ composite materials to integrate sensors and bioelectronic devices.

Education Engagement Coordinator

The Educational Engagement Coordinator is responsible for planning, managing, coordinating, and conducting programming designed to acclimate preK-12, undergraduate, and graduate students to ODU, as well as for integrating international and domestic students and building the intercultural competence of students, faculty, and staff at the Center for Bioelectronics. The successful candidate will work alongside public and private schools, school districts, college campuses, and higher education institutions to recruit, develop and manage educational outreach activities, understand and evaluate the effectiveness of our educational research strategies intended to reduce and eliminate achievement and opportunity gaps in STEM.

Research Assistant/Associate Professor of Biosensor & Bioelectronics Development (Non-Tenure Track)

The Center for Bioelectronics at Old Dominion University is seeking outstanding candidates for one or two full-time Research Assistant or Associate Professor position with expertise in biosensor & bioelectronics development. The successful candidate will make key contributions to the area of molecular and cancer biology, point-of-care diagnostics, and mentoring students. The individual will be responsible for conducting sponsored research and contributing to the development and execution of externally funded proposals and projects. The appointment will be at the Research Assistant or Research Associate Professor rank with an anticipated start date of May 2024.
