Departments
ODU Facilities Management is organized into five main departments that provide all facilities-related services to the campus community. They include: Business Operations, Facilities Operation & Maintenance, Building Services, Engineering & Non-Capital Construction, and Design & Capital Construction.
Almost any service can be requested in our online work order system. Please note, some service requests may have a cost associated, for which you may receive a quote or bill (see reimbursement of costs policy for more info). For facilities emergencies during holidays or after hours, call University Police (757-683-4000) to assist. Always call 911 for fire, police, or medical emergencies.

Housing Maintenance
- Housekeeping and maintenance services for campus student residences
Support Services & Recycling
- Design work, project management, minor renovations, and oversight of non-capital construction projects (under $3M)
