Earn a communication degree on your schedule with ODU's online option for the Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Both degree are the same as our on-campus programs, just delivered online.

Lifespan & Digital Communication (M.A.)

Study how to innovate, imagine and create the tools, methods and solutions critical for 21st century communication problems utilizing the most up-to-date research tools.

Media Studies

With this area of study, you'll see how the many forms of media (TV, radio, online, etc.) influence the world around us.

Bachelor of Science

  • The B.S. can be completed online whether you're starting as a freshman or transferring from another institution.
  • To earn this degree from ODU, you must complete at least 30 credit hours with us. This Bachelor's degree requires 120 total credit hours.

 

Bachelor of Arts

  • Degrees in Lifespan Communication, Professional Communication, Strategic Communication, and Media Studies are available completely online.
  • To earn this degree from ODU, you must complete at least 30 credit hours with us. This Bachelor's degree requires 120 total credit hours.
