Secondary Education

Our Mission

The Secondary Education Program at ODU considers diversity an educational resource, and our work in Hampton Roads mirrors a commitment to urban, rural, and suburban communities. Our current program has dynamic faculty members whose expertise resides in teaching, learning, and teacher education. It also offers flexibility in both online and face-to-face courses and attracts candidates who desire the challenges and rewards of teaching all students, including historically marginalized learners. Our graduates implement critical pedagogies and succeed in a range of educational settings.
