Partnerships

School-University Partnerships

The Department of Teaching and Learning is actively working to build relationships with surrounding school divisions to strengthen our teacher preparation programs. Our current work focuses on Norfolk Public Schools and some of our partnership schools are highlighted below along with clinical faculty from these partner schools. Additional information about field experiences for teacher candidates can be located on the Office of Clinical Experiences website.

We recognize the good work of the teachers in schools mentoring and coaching ODU teacher candidates. Read about our award recipients.
