Department of Counseling & Human Services
Preparing human services and counseling professionals to provide supportive, educational, and counseling services in a wide range of settings, including agencies, PK-12 schools, and colleges and universities; to contribute to knowledge in human services and counseling through scholarly contributions of faculty members and students; and to provide service to the human services and counseling professions, the community, and ODU.

Educational Foundations & Leadership department has four academic program areas that explore the relationship between leadership and learning. Each program provides you with the necessary skills needed to elevate your career in education and make a difference.
Department of Human Movement Sciences
Preparing professionals in the following disciplines dedicated to the promotion of health and wellness through human movement: Exercise Science, Health and Physical Education, Park, Recreation and Tourism Studies, and Sport Management.
Department of STEM Education & Professional Studies
Offering courses in fashion merchandising, industrial technology, instructional design & technology, training specialist, library science as well as a host of certification and graduate program offerings. Additionally, we are proud to offer teacher preparation programs in marketing and technology education.
Department of Teaching & Learning
Promoting the development of our students as professional educators, leaders, and critically engaged citizens. Through these efforts, our students become innovative and creative educators who make a difference for diverse learners, from birth through adulthood, in schools and communities, both local and global.
